Conditions of participation Cars & Bytes Award

1. participation conditions

Participation in the competition of Peppermint Event GmbH Boulevard der EU 8 30539 Hannover, hereinafter referred to as the operator or organizer, is free of charge and is governed exclusively by these conditions of participation.

2. course of the lottery

The duration of the competition is from 22.04.2022 till 30.2.2022 6:00 pm and is divided into three phases:

(a) 1st registration period ("Call for Cars").

i. From 22.04.2022, 00:00 hrs to 29.04.2022, 3pm, users will be given the opportunity online at https://www.myhood.com/awards/cars-bytes-award to participate in the competition and create a vehicle profile. Only own vehicles (automobiles) that actually exist and are actually in the legal possession of the participant are eligible to participate. The information provided in the vehicle profile must be truthful and as complete as possible. At least one current photo or video of the vehicle must be stored in the vehicle profile. The general terms and conditions for users on MyHood apply.

(b) 2nd voting period ("Voting")

i. From 29.04.2022, 4pm to 30.04.2022, 16:00 hrs, users have the opportunity online at https://www.myhood.com/awards/cars-bytes-award to cast one vote each for three vehicles ("to vote"). Users may also vote for their own vehicle.

ii. The Cars & Bytes jury consisting of automotive experts will also award one vote each for three vehicles.

i. On April 30, 2022 at 6:00 p.m., the jury will announce the winners during the live streaming event "Cars & Bytes" at www.carsandbytes.de.

3. participation

(a) In order to participate in the competition, it is necessary to register free of charge (create a user profile) at www.myhood.com, including creating and publishing a vehicle profile, and to complete and submit the participation form displayed. Participation is only possible within the participation period. Entries received after the closing date will not be considered.

(b) Only one submitted registration per participant will be entered into the competition. It is strictly prohibited to use multiple email addresses or multiple Facebook profiles to increase the chances of winning.

4. Eligible participants

(a) Natural persons who are resident in Germany and have reached the age of 18 are eligible to participate. Participation is not restricted to customers of the organizer and is not dependent on the purchase of goods or services for which a charge is made.

(b) Should a participant be restricted in his/her legal capacity, the consent of his/her legal representative is required.

(c) Not eligible to participate in the competition are all persons involved in the conception and implementation of the competition and employees of the operator or the organizer of the Cars & Bytes event as well as their family members. In addition, the operator reserves the right, at its own discretion, to exclude persons from participation if there are justified reasons, for example

i. in the event of manipulation in connection with access to or implementation of the competition,

ii. in the event of violations of these conditions of participation,

iii. in the event of dishonest conduct, or

iv. in the event of false or misleading information in connection with participation in the prize draw.

5. prize, notification and transmission of the prize

(a) The following prizes will be awarded:

i. 1st prize: In-stock parts of your choice worth a total of 1.500,- EUR of the brands SACHS, SACHS Performance, TRW and Lemförder. You have the free choice, we pay and send the parts to your home (within Germany, except islands).

ii. 2nd prize: A set of rims of your choice of the brands 2DRV® or AXXION®. Only condition: The rims must fit your winning vehicle and be in stock. Including shipping to your home within Germany (except islands).

iii. 3rd prize: Eibach Springs and distance letter set of your choice for your vehicle Including shipping to your home within Germany (except islands).

(b) The finalists will be determined by voting on www.myhood.com (public voting). The winners will be selected after the closing date by a jury to be determined by the organizer from all participants who meet the requirements under points 2 to 4.

The availability of the participant on 30.4.2022 between 16:00 and 19:30h is a prerequisite for participation.

If a participant is not available during this period, the prize will go to the next participant.

(d) The prize will be handed over exclusively to the winner or to the legal representative of a minor winner. An exchange, a self-collection as well as a cash payment of the prize are not possible.

(e) Any costs incurred for shipping the prizes will be borne by the operator. Any additional costs associated with claiming the prize shall be borne by the winner. The winner is responsible for any taxation of the prize.

(f) If the winner does not respond after two requests within a period of 3 weeks, the prize can be transferred to another participant.

6. Termination of the competition

The organizer expressly reserves the right to terminate the competition without prior notice and without giving reasons. This applies in particular to any reasons that would disrupt or prevent the sweepstakes from running as planned.

8. legal process

(a) The sweepstake of the operator is subject exclusively to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany.

(b) The legal process is excluded. Unless a prize promise expressly made by the operator is in dispute, this may be the subject of legal proceedings.

9. severability clause

Should any provision of these terms and conditions of participation be or become invalid in whole or in part, this shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions of these terms and conditions of participation. Instead of the ineffective provision, the legally permissible provision that comes closest in economic terms to the meaning and purpose expressed in the ineffective provision shall apply. The same shall apply in the event of a loophole in these Terms and Conditions of Participation.
